Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CrossPost (“we”, “us”, or the “Service”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the application to create, schedule, and cross-post content to third-party social platforms.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — the email address and credentials you use to sign in.
- Content you create — the posts, text, images, and scheduling details you add to the Service.
- Connected accounts — access tokens and related metadata for the third-party platforms you connect (such as Pinterest, TikTok, and Facebook), which we store solely to publish on your behalf.
- Usage data — basic technical information such as log entries generated while operating the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To publish and schedule the content you create to the destinations you choose.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To diagnose problems and improve the Service.
3. Third-Party Platforms
When you connect a social platform, you authorize us to store an access token and use it to publish content you schedule. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You can disconnect any platform at any time, which removes its stored token from our systems.
4. Data Storage
Your projects, posts, uploaded media, and connector tokens are stored in cloud object storage (Amazon S3). We take reasonable measures to protect this data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
5. Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your posts, projects, and connected accounts at any time; deleting a project also removes its associated posts, media, and tokens.
7. Your Rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your information through the Service. To request assistance, contact us using the details below.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when we post the updated policy with a new effective date.
